Its almost impossible to cook up something that doesn’t contain clichés nowadays. To complain about FF not changing enough is the same to complain about Mario following the same receipt everytime. Fans of FF, and Mario for that matter, like the games and doesn’t need much change to them aside from maybe some more content like new levels, a different cast of characters, more stuff to do etc.
No. I don’t think they should make FF a parody of itself. Neither should Mario or anything else.
